Firewood Ministry

This ministry is a tangible way for us to serve God as well as our local community. The Bible tells us in Matthew 25:40 that "Whatever you do for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you do for me." By delivering free firewood to our brothers (and sisters)in need, we hope to show our love and commitment to the local community. We currently focus our efforts and supplies for the disabled, elderly, or low income people in the general Maple Valley area.

Split wood is available now for delivery for this winter. We will deliver a full pickup truck load to each household. Wood size and type will vary but overall length should be 18" or less.

Donations for Union Gospel Mission

On the first Sunday of each month we will have a receptacle in the foyer for items to be given to the homeless in the Seattle area. The items are distributes by the Union Gospel Mission. They are in need of socks, underwear, t-shirts, tooth brushes, tooth paste, deodorant, razors, and hand soap. This is a great way to help others who are less fortunate than us. Please plan to bring something. Address any questions you may have to Mark Baker.

Support Groups

Community Support groups are welcome to find out more about using our facility to host your support group meetings.  Currently the building is used by a Fibromyalgia support group and a few others.
